July 2025 Content & Platform Update

July was an exciting month that brought numerous platform enhancements as well as learning content and lab additions to the Library. 

“Application in Browser” (AIB) lab experience is now available across all SJD-100 learning modules. Here’s the scoop:

• Learners no longer need to download VPN packs, launch Kali in browsers and connect remotely to machines.
• Click on the start lab and go: no extra setup, no configuration frustrations.
• With everything self-contained, labs start reliably and learners can focus entirely on the exercises.

How it works:

• Within any SJD-100 module, go to Resources → Application in Browser (AIB).
• Click on the icon to open the lab in a new tab with the lab environment already connected.
• Tackle your exercises side-by-side with your course materials (you can minimize, maximize, or even split-screen as you like).

Learners needed to discover Assessments by themselves on the Explore page. From now on, they won’t only rely on the Explore page, but will be able to see Assessments clearly listed out in the left nav on the Assessments page.

As a refresher, these assessments are built for the following reasons: 

• Measure readiness and Identify gaps quickly (1 or 1,5 hours assessments)
• Recommend the right learning path or course (feature to come)
• Give learners a confidence boost or a reality check
• Helping our enterprise customers assess talent
• Each assessment is designed to contain hands-on questions (typically 5–6 per assessment) and all these questions are mapped to core skills and techniques relevant to the job role.

We’re excited to announce the release of an enhanced Learner Profile experience in Talent Finder! 

Why we’re making these changes:

• To give learners more ways to showcase their skills, availability, and achievements clearly.
• To empower Talent Finder admins to easily discover and engage with talent based on detailed profiles.

What exactly is changing?

• Revamped Learner Profiles:
  • Learners can now add Job Titles, Bio, Work Availability, Work Arrangements, and Social Profiles.
  • Profiles have a fresh look, consistent with our updated design.
• Improved Talent Finder:
  • Admins now have additional filters like Work Availability and Work Arrangements.
  • Expanded profile details visible directly within Talent Finder, including Bio, Job Titles and Social Profiles, making talent search more rich.
• Public Profile Sharing:
  • Learners can share their profiles publicly via a unique URL, making achievements and skills visible externally.
  • Public profiles also highlight learners’ achievements (like OSCP certifications), providing potential leads and driving revenue growth.
