Who is Proving Grounds for?
Both beginners and advanced users can benefit from Proving Grounds. Play is ideal for those starting in penetration testing, while Practice is geared towards users preparing for the OSCP+ exam or looking to refined advanced cybersecurity skills.

What types of machines are available?
Proving Grounds offers a wide variety of machines from beginner-friendly to complex, real-world systems. Proving Grounds Play offers only Linux OS while Practice includes Windows and Linux machines. Machines are regularly updated to reflect current vulnerabilities and scenarios.

What tools are available in Proving Grounds?
Proving Grounds uses an in-browser Kali Linux instance giving users access to the same tools used in real-world penetration testing without needing to set up a local environment.

What is the difference between Play and Practice?
- Proving Grounds Play is free, giving users access to a select set of machines to test and improve their skills.
- Proving Grounds Practice is a paid subscription with a wider variety of machines, including retired OSCP exam labs to help users prepare for the OSCP+ exam and advanced penetration testing scenarios.
