Build a Cybersecurity Workforce Aligned to the NICE 2.2 Framework
Cybersecurity teams need a shared way to define the work they perform and the capabilities required to perform it well.
OffSec has mapped its hands-on learning portfolio to the NICE 2.2 Workforce Framework, helping organizations connect training to recognized work roles, tasks, knowledge, and skills while building practical capability across the workforce.

Connect Learning to the Work Your Teams Perform
The NICE 2.2 Workforce Framework provides a common language for describing cybersecurity work and the tasks, knowledge, and skills associated with each work role.
Organizations
Organizations can use NICE 2.2 work roles to clarify workforce needs, identify capability gaps, and create development plans grounded in the responsibilities people perform.
OffSec
OffSec’s mapping shows where practical training and hands-on content support those requirements, making it easier to move from workforce planning to skill development.

How the Mapping Works
Each NICE work role includes task, knowledge, and skill statements that describe the work performed and the capabilities needed to perform it.
OffSec reviewed individual learning units across certification courses, labs, and Proving Grounds against the task, knowledge, and skill statements assigned to each NICE 2.2 work role.
A statement is counted as covered when at least one OffSec learning unit substantially addresses it. Alignment reflects the percentage of a role’s combined task, knowledge, and skill statements supported by mapped OffSec content.
-
Tasks The activities professionals perform as part of their work role.
-
Knowledge The information and concepts professionals need to understand to perform the work.
-
Skills The ability to perform an observable action required by the work role.
